A van called Nettle...

Here’s our recently converted campervan, Nettle! She’s a 2012 Ford Transit Ex-Council van, and now she’s starting a thrilling new chapter as our Foragemobil. After two years of hard work, dedication and money,  she’s finally ready for adventure!

My dad and I designed and built everything ourselves. It was a long — and sometimes challenging — process, but we really enjoyed working on this project together and are so proud of how it turned out. I’ve learned so much along the way!

Inside, she feels wonderfully homely, with rattan cupboards, colourful green tiles, and lots of little thoughtful touches that make her special.

We also fitted her with a 30-litre underslung gas tank, a Truma Combi Boiler, and a high-spec electrical system.

We can’t wait to take little Indie out for adventures — especially truffle hunting! 🍄

Our inside space...

Nettle is a fully equipped off-grid camper, complete with 400w solar panels, a hot water sink and shower, cassette toilet, two-burner hob, 60-litre fridge, and a comfy bed!
